Red Dress Gala
The Red Dress Gala is Alpha Phi’s most important philanthropic event of the year. Festivities include a reception, dinner, and silent auction at an elegant venue. The Gala occurs over Fall Family Weekend, allowing us to spend that amazing time with our family and sisters. This past year we raised $18,267 at Red Dress Gala. The money raised supports women's heart health research and education. All the proceeds made go to the Alpha Phi Foundation. Which is in charge of the Heart to Heart Grant.
Week of Phi
Click the Link below to get to our Week of phi website
Our main event for Week of Phi, Alpha Phifa, is our largest student involved fundraiser. Where we hold a soccer competition between fraternities, athletes and sororities on campus. Any student is allowed to form a team and enter into our soccer tournament, all proceeds go to the Alpha Phi Foundation. We raised over $2,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation this past spring term.
This year will be our first year holding a Mr. Heartthrob competition. Originally called Mr. Alpha Phi, over the years we have lost the tradition but are excited to bring it back for Week of Phi 2020. More information coming soon.
Mr. Heartthrob will be judged on two aspects!
1. Group Lipsync Battle
2. Individual Heartthrob Talent Portion
Also a new addition to Week of Phi, Alpha Phreeze is fundraiser held in our very own back yard. A live performance Dj with snow cone trucks, all proceeds made at the door go directly to the Alpha Phi Foundation. We can't wait to have our first Alpha Phreeze when we get back to campus!
As a chapter of Oregon States Panhellenic community we are very involved in many philanthropy events within our greek community and other volunteer work within the Corvallis community.
